Progressive Hollywood actor George Clooney talks to
Morris about a new project. ".....It's a screen play by an Iraqi refugee. I
help his English. He believes Hollywood, deep down, is ready for this.....He's
not a Bush bot, not really. I think they call him an apostate.....No, Salman
Rushdie is not available.....Authentic? Hey Morris, this would stretch
every actor bone in my body. And don't worry, I could grow a beard like you
wouldn't believe.....Look, the story line's got everything. Think Lawrence of
Arabia ten-fold, with Mecca instead of Lawrence. A warlord with visions,
appeals both to men and women. And what a wardrobe! What's not to drool
over?.....Huh? Fatwa? Morris, who do we know who ever got fatwah-ed?.....Of
course I could handle a sword and camels. You practise....The story line is
basically respectful. I see dignity.....No, there is not a pedophile scene.
That's a misunderstanding by the koofars who don't want to pay jizya.....Okay,
the little girl is stunning, but she's very, very spiritual. And mature.
Remember, she hasn't converted yet either, so technically her ways are still
those of an infidel.....Foreign box office?....In Asia they'll love the ambushes
and sand-dune battles. Euros will appreciate the multy-culty
sensitivity.....Morris, this reaches out. It's way bigger than just Cannes and
Oscar..... You don't see a blockbuster in Beirut?.....What do you mean, trouble
in Tehran?.....Morris, listen to me.....

BlogWorld: May 25 update. Is the Islamic warrior--with or without George Clooney---becoming increasingly relevant for Hollywood and even the U.S. homeland (and U.S. prisons)? Michelle Malkin's new post on an old case(starkly illustrated) suggests: You bet! The Jihadi Snipers Re-visited....May 24. Atlas Shrugs looks at the latest contact from Islamo-Fascism's Poster Boy. (No word on whether bin Laden, a hero to many muslims, would be available for "The Mohammed Code," either as consultant, actor, publicist or detractor.)
Or how about your society which has no laws, where some people rape a 7 year old girl who they earlier couple of hours ago murdered. Or where Bill(y) Clinton use a cigar to poke Monica. Where some people in your society rape baby's some even 12 weeks old or kill a child who happens to be lost in a shopping mall where later he is discovered on a train track. After all the people of your ill society can even distinguish if they are male or female should the have sex with people of opposite sex or the same, what a confusion. I cant wait to see the porn that the Queen made with Adolph Hitler where the camera men were the Jews hired from Poland. It was a box office hit in Iraq and Iran. How about making a movie where Osama Bin Laden captures the Queen and makes a porn movie in either Washington or Afghanistan this will defiantly kill off the Kafoor population which sticks the place out with pork and pinky pigs.

From what you've said here it appears that this film has something for everyone... except the nazis!
Clooney is having the words "Los Arabs" embroidered on the desert robes. Perhaps Gringoman, Malkin and the rest of the fascista blogosphere, where all things are beautiful and an iraqi dentist complains about the heat in his country, can ruminate as to wether there exists an international conspiracy to 'Mexify' major league baseball!
One thing that would not fit into the film is the gringoimagined pedophile scene. Everyone knows that all pedophiles are right-wing; it goes with their inherent power and domination trip. There are no lefty pedophiles. This is not to infer that all right-wingers are sexual deviants for some have the ability and the fortitude to repress their sexual proclivities into sadistic social policies or other expressions. The above Clooney vignette being just one.

Adam Khan,
It's really a wacky koofar planet---except where followers of the Prophet (PBUH) have conquered, is it not?
Posted by: gringoman | May 24, 2006 at 12:53 PM
Comradized Wedeen,
You inform us that only rightwingers, not left loons, are pedophiles. GringoVision hopes that this is only just another demonstration of your mental (sic) faculties. Better that than telling us, in effect, of frustration, a feeling of being left out, no?
Incidentally, are you telling the world that no Cana-kook has ever been a pedophile? If your legal expertise allows you to answer yes or no, try it for a change.

The new color schemes is looking good, but your writing may be a bit high-falutin' for some.

Trevor,
You may have a point, especially since you came in during a recent exchange with the lawyerly Phillip Wedeen, a Canadian who for years has been blasting everything American that is to the right of Michael Moore, or even Mother Sheehan in a Che Guevara tee-shirt. As a naturalized U.S. citizen from Canada, now serving honorably in Baghdad, you may have less "high-falutin'" terms for Wedeen than "weenie" and "Cana-kook" as he relentlessly (1) rants about American "racists" and "fascists" and "imperialists" and "war-mongers" (2) claims that the brave young Iraqi blogger Omar, known world-wide,(Iraq The Model) is just an American stooge who has his stuff written for him by U.S. agents, and is probably not even in Iraq. And (3) This Canadian "progressive," Wedeen, is not even man enough to answer simple questions when I try to pin him down, as for example, Does he support the Anti-Islamist Manifesto signed by brave artists and intellectuals in Europe and mentioned here at gringoman.com on March 1, 2006.
Gringoman.com, in fact, would consider it a public service to facilitate a frank exchange between a Canadian in Baghdad and the "learned" Canadian in Ottawa (or Montreal) who seems to see himself as a spokesman (an enthusiastic one, too) for World Anti-Americanism, and who was dubbed by Alexandra von Maltzen "Phillip Weezel." It could be in the best of USPAO tradition, or maybe even grow a new branch in that tree, a very important tree in this era of Mind Wars, no? In fact, if it would help, I could even stay out of it and let you and Wedeen have at it. With your background, you might very well have a more insightful take on this Canadian than I do.Who knows? I'll bet others would be interested in seeing what happens when you two get "inter-active." Cutting-edge Internet, no?

More and more people ought to look at this and understand this side of the story. I was surprised that you're not more popular given that you most certainly have the gift.
