A first in the annals of journalism? A
bulldog (award-winning) reporter is openly addressing a widow in the matter of
her husband's death, in a case that is technically closed. It's Air Force,
it's Texas and it's happening at MCC (MilitaryCorruption.com)"fighting for the
truth, exposing the corrupt.") MCC is the website that's proudly American and
willing to take on military brass. In other words, it has enemies both in the
Pentagon and among the anti-American leftniki. MCC is not accusing Air
Force Lt. Colonel Tracy Shue (recently retired and recently a millionairess.)
However, it's doing what no one else is: raising very troubling questions about
the death of Air Force Colonel Phillip Shue. The Colonel's body, incidentally,
was found with nipples and finger tip surgically removed, cult-style. Local law
enforcement pronounced this a "suicide," and the United States Air Force
accepts this ruling. MCC is now addressing the Widow Shue directly. Sparks are
flying in this 'Newly New Journalism." Maybe you think MCC is "picking on" a
poor widow just because she's now a poor rich widow? Advisory: There's more to
this story of Stateside Air Force life today. Details now from MCC at "Give Back The
Money!" Also, see follow-up post, Colonel's Widow Forks Over.
BUY DANISH
Gringoman, you are as nutty as a fruit cake! Your MCC "broke" nothing in this case. You simply reprinted from the Army Times and the San Antonio local papers. The rest being mere speculation.
I do like the Gringo touch of offering to fly Shues' former wives to the Scottsdale Hilton "penthouse with security". Judging from the hotel photos displayed in the online prospectus the "penthouse" is on the 3rd Floor.
"Award winning"?!
I can think of a few.

How is Shue's widow rich? She collected USD$1.5 million from life insurance. That's not rich.
"Award winning journalism"?
The Go-bbells prize maybe.

Thank you for inviting me to your blog gringoman. I have the MCC article opened in another window now. I have not read it yet but I will.
It does sound fishy to call a guy with chopped off nipples and fingertips a suicide.
Posted by: Melinda Ann Smith =^..^= | February 14, 2006 at 02:46 AM
Why are you picking on his widow? I just read this story http://www.mysanantonio.com/news/metro/stories/MYSA021006.01B.shue_file.10e8163f.html
It says that the man thought his ex-wife was going to kill him. I was surprised to find out the guy is a psychiatrist. And you know how I like psychiatrists. The other people around him are making it sound like he was suicidal and had thoughts of harming himself for awhile.
I know it sounds weird but maybe he cut off his own nipples. There are people who cut themselves on purpose. I did that when I was a teen but thankfully things got better and I stopped.
I did read they found traces of duct tape around his wrists and feet. So that sounds like what his wife said, he was kidnapped.

GIVE BACK THE MONEY?! The "90 year old Shue" parents never heard of gringoman or Militarycorruption.com AND are themselves multi-millionaires... who's pulling the collective chain of readers, gringoman?
Just what is the nexus between militarycorruption. com and this case?
Zero. Zilch. Nada.
Just a case of buttinski, officious intermeddling, a-la The National Enquirer. Every verifiable fact came from The Army Times or MySanAntonio.com and ALL speculation came from Gringoman "Award Winning" journalist for MCC.
Give us a break.
Anybody ever notice how all these MCC stories concern wiley women trying to pull one over on the troops?
Try renaming your rag: How about Abu-Grabass?

Hey, Melinda, welcome to gringoman.com! Sorry about the Twins of Twit, Comrades Edwards and Wedeen, but I'm sure you're not shocked, knowing them from Nalini's. Recently here Alexandra von Maltzen,("All Things Beautiful") who has more intelligence in one of her fingernails than both of them put together, sized them up instantly: Or rather downsized them. (And Wedeen knows exactly what size she was talking about.) But I don't need to tell you. Anyone looking at the facts can see that these jumping jerks pile one idiocy and cheap slur on top of the other---calling the deceased Colonel's old parents "rich," lying about them not knowing MCC, ignoring the MCC refusal to accept a mutilated corpse as a "suicide," and calling the widow "not rich" after the facts show she's collecting more than 1.5 million, not to mention her shaking down the elderly parents of her "dear departed" for $12,000 in legal fees. This and more would matter to the honest, truth-seeking reader. But the Twins of Twit? What a lesson they are! Excellent examples of what is meant by "left loons." Nobody has to make them up. They do show and tell every time. In that sense,I agree, they're performing a social service by giving themselves away so easily. I congratulate them for that. They earned the Wingnut of the Left Order of Merit.
Getting back to common sense and the real world. You think that MAYBE Colonel Shue could have surgically removed his own nipples? And the tip of his little finger? And yet was found at the wheel of his car, wrists bound in duct tape etc? And you would accept the official ruling of "suicide"? (Incidentally, you'd never know it from the Jumping Jerks, but there are plenty more facts about this case in the MCC files, which can easily be found at militarycorruption.com, and I can assure you there are more facts which have not yet been disclosed by MCC or anyone else.)
Posted by: Dan Cameron Rodill | February 14, 2006 at 10:11 PM
Here is why you are a wingnut:
The issue regarding the Insurance has nothing to do with the "Slayer Statute" you quoted. That is not relevant here.
The issue regarding the insurance concerns a 'viatiation clause' which is standard in life insurance policies; that is, no life policies are paid when the cause of death is a suicide. (The crap you throw around about a 'slayer statute' in your article has no legal relevance here because the named beneficiaries will not be paid if the cause of death is suicide.)
Hence neither widow "is rich " because the policies have not been paid.
Second, and more importantly, is the determination by the sheriff, based on forensic evidence including the autopsy, that Shue's death was a suicide.
Notwithstanding a second autopsy conducted on behalf of the widow (because she can't collect insurance) the sheriff will not reopen the case. T
The widow is challanging the cause of death.
But Gringoman, who is not privy to the evidence and has botched the "motive for murder" has made the call from two thousand miles away, the facts be damned.
Plus, the only facts in the MCC piece came from published news sources. Everything else is 'award winning' Gringoman bullshit.
Posted by: Phillip Wedeen | February 15, 2006 at 12:20 PM
Comrade-advocate, here's how even "schooled" people like you get to be known as "moonbats." You purport to "know" so much about this case with your "deconstruction" of the "Slayer statute" etc, but while giving us the legalnik razzle-dazzle you can't even see the obvious that's right in front of your progressive nose: I am not the investigator in this story and never claimed to be. Has Professor Edwards gotten you through that yet? If you can't absorb that much, how trustworthy is anything else you pretend to "dissect" and do your Statute Samba with? What good is a plumber who sticks his head in the toilet bowl and claims he's fixing the plunger? The MCC archives have a number of files on this on-going story. Have you checked them out? The investigator is an award-winning reporter (over 600 bylines in mainstream media) and is not, like you, "two thousand miles" from the story. This is his story, I am linking to it, and I believe that he knows far more about it than does a distant Canadian educated kook trying to save Planet Earth from America. I stand by that. Do you stand by your nonsense that this is my story? Are you still working for a degree in Professor Edwards' Silly Slander Methodology? If you want to be ignorant enough and dopey enough to challenge the fact that this is an ongoing investigation by someone who is far closer to the story than you or any of the superficial media sources you have cited, you
go right ahead. And when you're finished, we reccommend Henri Levy-Straus's take on the "American Left" (which you and Edwards clearly qualify as honorary members of)recently published in the Bible of Progressives, no less, THE NATION:
"Nothing made a more lasting impression during my journey through America than the semi-comatose state in which I found the American left."
Posted by: Dan Cameron Rodill | February 15, 2006 at 03:23 PM
Gringoman:
So nothing on the Viatiation Clause superceding your Slayer's Statute? One cannot collect life insurance if the decedant was a suicide. You have nine paragraphs of insinuation as to murder for insurance... oh, I forgot the wiccans, and it is all bullshit. The Slayer Statute is not at issue. The widow(s) cannot collect insurance if the death is ruled, as it was, a suicide.
BTW Gringoman, apropos your remarks regarding the american left being comatose, I really do not care. I am a Quebecois and hold a canadian passport. I wouldn't even visit that hell-hole your neo-cons have created. (Scott is chilean, though he holds an american green card and a mexican metricula.) But you want your cake... Gringoman has posted hundreds of stories about the threat of the american left.
But back to the MCC story; it's bullshit. When you say that this is an "ongoing investigation" you are talking about you. As for the sheriff, case closed.
The rest of the MCC piece, like the Gringoman response above, is a smokescreen for lack of accuracy and substance.
Posted by: Phillip Wedeen | February 15, 2006 at 03:45 PM
Angry White Left Man Wedeen,(is anything above 'inaccurate'?)
Americans are not expecting gratitude from Comrade Professor Edwards for the green card granted him (In fact I commend him for taking the legal route rather than hiring a coyote to get him across the border.) And they don't expect it from you or Canada's nanny-state minions whose subsidized media hacks help them to ignore how the USA carries the defense burden of these slackers (although Americans certainly applaud the grown-up Canadians who rejected these devious wimps in the recent election)
But while you try to blow legalnik smoke with the "Viatiation Clause" and "Slayer Statute" and the "suicide" pre-emption for insurance, pause for a moment. Catch your breath. (We'll even give you a pass on how you're lying through your educated teeth about my relation to this story.)
Ready?...Okay. I have a source who is closer to this story than you ever were, or are, or are likely ever to be. You say that Tracy Shue did not receive the 1.5 million insurance money, due to what you think you know about the "suicide" clause. (You can point to the statute, right?) My source, who knows you to be a fool, says that Tracy Shue has, in fact, received the 1.5 million. Now if you can show otherwise, without acting stupid again and just pointing to some clause, like an ignorant sophomore, while you pontificate from your prog lair up there, far from "the hell-hole," well, you go right ahead.
Show what you can from up there in Nanny Land.
Posted by: Dan Cameron Rodill | February 16, 2006 at 12:16 PM
Every Life Insurance Policy has a suicide clause, nitwit. Google: Life Insurance Suicide.
Voila!
Kill yourself, they keep the change.
If gringoman is so close to the case he would know Jason Davis. Davis is Tracy Shue's attorney. He was shocked to learn that MCC accused his client of insurance fraud and murder.
Well that is between him and MCC; he said he'll be in touch!
Plus MCC claims that they will turn over the fruit of their investigation to the FBI via Sen McCain (because otherwise they will not seriously investigate?). Let's see, "Dear FBI, we at MCC believe the Colonel was killed by wiccans!"
Though it seems that the FBI has investigated along with Military Intelligence Officials.
Conclusion Suicide!
It's in the papers, Gringoman... the mainstrean (excuse me, the "lamestream") press. Must be a commie plot.
Posted by: Phillip Wedeen | February 16, 2006 at 05:58 PM
Wedeen, do we have to send you back to Professor Edwards' class on "critical thinking'? Or is your problem that you've spent too much time in it already? If you read the above (with at least freshman level comprehension) you'd understand that the "suicide clause" was granted. Or was the use of the word "pre-emption" too confusing for you? Has Professor Edwards taught you that in "logical thinking" you have to deal with the point that's being made, instead of the point (suicide clause) that's not being made? Or would you rather just tootle away and show us how you can go on making a point that is pointless, as it's not being contested? Stop blowing the smoke for a minute. You mentioned Tracy Shue's lawyer. Good for you! He was "shocked" to hear of MCC's "charges." Oh, I'll bet he was. And how clever you were to quote him! (Do you get paid for serving old baloney like this?) But why is it you dropped the big ball? The main point? Why didn't you get a confirmation that Tracy Shue has NOT received the 1.5 million dollars insurance money? Trouble with the phone line or the cell phone? Why are you instead schlupping around with this stupid rant about something everybody already knows, your famous "suicide clause? I know Edwards sometimes has trouble with basic English comprehension? How about you? Did you have trouble understanding the main point I made? Here, can I offer you some assistance. Here's a re-post.........
My source, who knows you to be a fool, says that Tracy Shue has, in fact, received the 1.5 million. Now if you can show otherwise, without acting stupid again and just pointing to some clause, like an ignorant sophomore,(okay, freshman) while you pontificate from your prog lair up there, far from "the hell-hole," well, you go right ahead.
Wedeen, I remain open-minded, despite your readiness to lie, which I've already demonstrated. I consider my source more credible than you or your source. You're invited, once again, to stop beating around the weasel bush. If you can show that Tracy Shue has not received that 1.5 million, go to it! The great right-wing U.S. imperialistic conspiracy is not--repeat--not stopping you.

has Gringoman ever felt Col Shue's muscles?

Comrade WEEDeen, I rest my case on the ruins of a smoking progbrain---yours.

A good man has died or was murdered. Either way he is gone. All of you people arguing, speculating and insinuating are simply dancing on his grave.
Furthermore, the writing on the MCC website seems dangerously close to misogynist if not sociopathic in nature.
