Also for Oct.17 NKorea nuke/Beijing update)  The Pubs, of course,  are  embarrassing. They just found out that their Congressman Foley likes the boychiks? They never knew how he dreams of turning pages without a book? Right. And their Speaker Dennis Hastert was not only looking like the Michelin tire guy, but couldn't even understand the Engish buzzing around Congress for years?

Hastert didn't know about Mark Foley? Most everyone else seemed to know. The pages knew. Foley was the 3-F jerk: Fag From Florida. (The pages are still a bit too young and inexperienced to talk like today's politically corrected "free-speaking" American, who of course will never utter a word like "fag,"  especially off-mike.) And this 3-F-er was the personage the Pubs not only tolerated and embraced, but allowed on a committee for child welfare! This "sensitivity" was meant, apparently,  to show Libdom and its MSM water carriers that the Pubs are not Bible-biased,  are not  "homophobes," in fact are even "gay friendly."  Do give us  a break. Even their caddies would have known better. The Pubs were craven. If Mark Foley had gotten stupid and creepy with  girl pages, the pols would have dumped him fast, knowing they would not be called 'heterophobes.'  But Foley was known to fancy boys. Pols understand the power and influence of the 'gay lobby.' They've learned the liberal art of how to patronize. They understand the damage that 'homophobe' can do to you in today's Republic of the Politically Correct. They caved. Why take the risk?

Of course with the Dems you can't really speak of embarrassment anymore. They're beyond that, beyond shame, beyond dishonor. They'd be there even without the Clintonista  1993 barbecue of men, women and children on U.S. soil in Waco, a horror that would have politically struck dead forever any golf-pants Republican. Pathogenic? You can't lay it all down to Billary and the seamy side of hothouse Arkansas. Even once quaint New England seems to breed  this  like streptococci on the mucous membrane of Massachusetts. Teddy Boy Kennedy, after his girl toy  drowns in his car at Chappaquidick is, yes, yes, re-elected. You go, Ted!  Congressman Gerry Studds has his gay way with a 17-year old (not via internet, but personal hands-on attention) and is not only re-elected, but gets standing ovation from progressive constituents. You show 'em, Gerry! Congressman Barney Franks oversees a homo whorehouse--- based in Washington, yet. And so what? (Hey, nothing wrong with our Barney! You some kind of homophobe?)

In other words, with the Dems, is there  reason even to attempt discourse anymore? While they mantra about "Tax breaks for the rich" and "Grabbing grandma's Social Security,"  you take a shower, get dressed and move on.

As for coming elections, sure, both Pubs and Dems deserve to lose, and both already have in the eyes of many. Both are criminally negligent on U.S. borders, selling out either for cheap labor or cheap votes. The Pubs are often incompetent in the global war against Islamic Intimidation, yes, and the  Dems can barely  acknowledge that there is such a threat, let alone a global war. They are all hacks in bondage to the politically correct. True, the dismal Dems have pulled off a very slick, if tawdry, "October Surprise." They and the MSM life support timed these rotten Foley revelations perfectly. (Now they have to hope it doesn't come back to bite them.)  It might---underline 'might'---win them the Congress this year. if voter disgust focuses more on the Pubs. But would such a victory be 'pyrhhic'? That is, after two years of showing themselves 'back in charge,' raising taxes, protecting the "rights" of fanatical muslim detainees, ensuring defeat in Iraq, trying to talk Tehran out of the Mullah Bomb, clueless about Rep. Jefferson's 100 grand stashed in  his refrigerator, will they really be in shape to grab the big prize in 2008, the White House? Which way will the pendulum of disgust swing?

October 06 Update: While the pre-Electoral clamor and brouhaha (with plenty of 'haha') continues, here is a point-of-clarification query  which Dems and even Pubs will shy away from, in their dread of the PC police: Is ex-Congressman Mark Foley a pedophile or a homophile?

WebWorld: October 20 CHINA SPANKS LITTLE KIM. A glimmer of sanity in the long-running North Korean nightmare hosted by Kim-Soong Mentally ILL? More evidence for the constant gringoView: namely, that China can remedy if it wants to?  The UK Telegraph reports that special envoy from China's President Hu Jintao told Little Kim not to carry out a second nuclear test. Other reports even claim that starving North Korea's Dear Leader expresses "regret" for last week's test that has alarmed the world. Accurate or not, whether he's truly "sorry" or not, the Pyongyang puppet does seem to be feeling some pressure from Big Brother in Beijing. Stay tuned. Meanwhile AP/Breitbart reports that a ship possibly carrying military contraband despite UN sanctions has left a North Korean port. Will the U.S. stop it for inspection? Will it? While Little Kim yells "U.S. arrogance" and "act of war against peace-loving Koreans"? While nuke-happy mullahs in Iran watch how the "mighty" West deals with Little Kim? While most of the world lays back, waiting for  America to do the heavy lifting and, if anything goes wrong,  point to "U.S. imperialistic war-mongering"? And then 'progressives'  bring in the lawyers? Or will the meme be that this is another case of Bush fear-mongering, inventing a "terror threat,"  misleading us about WMD?  How's that rhyme go? 'Bush lied, people died.'  After all, Little Kim, known for his international smuggling and counterfeiting and dope-running , only tested a pretty small nuke last week, right? Is there anything to it? The gringoVision think tank has long pointed out that the solution to Kim-Soong Mentally ILL  is in Beijing, not Pyongyang. Now The Australian reports on signs that China, finally, as in building a border fence,  airing news of coup attempts and debating regime change---repeat--debating regime change for NoKo, may be re-considering the value of its porno-collecting  little Pyongyang puppet with the strange hair. Puppets, you see, when they get too creepy and too unpredictable in Beijing strategies against America, alarming even potentially nuclear Japan,  can become dangerous---possibly too dangerous  to humor and patronize much longer. True, nobody knows if Beijing is really ready to dump its top NoKo dog-eater. The politburo,especially the generals, determined to grab free Taiwan, their so-called "renegade province," may still find The ILL One useful in their maneuvers against U.S. security for Taiwan.  Still, the Chinese, at bottom, are not nutty ideologues or religious fanatics. Tension on DMZ, shots fired, as Kim-Jong Il threatens nuclear tests. Of course, this continuing NoKo nonsense is not really about nutty Noko. The Ill one in Pyongyang exists only at the pleasure of Beijing. Beijing could cut the little creep's life support tomorrow--if not today. The fact that it does not  is a testament to creditor China's ambition and debtor Washington's impotence. China makes, Walmart takes, and a fat little thug in starving North Korea shakes missiles at the "imperialists." Is there anyone who can't see this?
